Units

All web packages include 1 free update unit.

A unit is equivalent to 1 hour of work.

Units can be 'spent' in 1/2 hour blocks.

Units can be bought at any time, and in any quantity and there is no time limit on the use of units.

Minimum 'spend' is 1/2 a unit.

Units currently cost £35.

Web packages

Web packages have a minimum term of 24 months.

If you want to remove your website before this period expires you are still liable for full payment. 

No guarantee is given on availability of domain names. You will be offered a choice of closest match domains if your exact choice is not available.

.com/.org/.net etc. are also available, but at a higher cost. Please contact aptech for details.

Extra services (photography/text writing etc.) are charged by the 'unit'. Minimum spend 1/2 a unit.

Travel over 5 miles is charged by the 'unit'. Minimum spend 1/2 a unit.

By taking up a package with aptech you agree to these terms.

Custom builds

Consultation is priced at £50. This reflects the time taken to guide you through the many choices available. This cost is then taken from the final price of your system once you place your order.

Setting up of the system in your home does not include networking or internet connection, or the installation of any peripherals e.g. printers. These services are available on an hourly rate of £35. Minimum charge is 1/2 an hour.

All parts in a custom build are fully guaranteed.

Insurance

aptech is fully insured for Public Liability and Professional Indemnity.

Payment

All orders will be invoiced, no matter how small.

aptech accepts payments by:

Credit card, Debit card, or PayPal account - through e-mailed invoice. Simply open the e-mail and follow the instructions.

Please note - we do not yet have the facilities to accept Credit or Debit card payments by telephone. This service will be added soon.

Personal or Business cheque - Please make sure you have sufficient funds when sending cheques. Any cheques returned 'unpaid' will incur the cost of the return, added to the original invoice.

Cash - in person only. aptech accepts no responsibility for cash sent through the post.

All payments must be made within 5 working days from the date of the invoice. Using the electronic invoice facility makes the payment instant, and can be used 24 hours a day.

We cannot offer credit facilities.

Returns

We hope you will be very happy with any products or services you buy from aptech, however, you may occasionally need to return something.

If an item is faulty: In the first instance, please contact aptech by e-mail or telephone outlining the problem. It may be a technical problem we can sort out for you there and then. If the item is found to be faulty, we will arrange for it to be returned to us, and we will replace the item.

If an item is no longer needed: Again, contact us first to let us know you would like to return an item. Any non-faulty items need to be returned in their original packaging and in an unused condition so they can be re-sold. Please note that you may be responsible for postage costs for return to aptech.

Any other reason for return: Please contact us and we will do our best to help you.
